    Hi, I'm Rosalind Bubb

I'm an experienced therapist specialising in miscarriage support.

I’ve had 12 miscarriages myself, including one at 14 weeks’ pregnancy, one ectopic, and one after IVF. I know what it’s like, and I also know how to make it less upsetting and easier to cope with, which is not generally known about.

I am an EFT International Advanced practitioner; a Counsellor accredited with the NCPS; a TAT Professional, and a Master NLP practitioner. I’ve helped hundreds of women to feel better since 2004 and I want to share the tools I’ve used to help you feel better.

My miscarriages were all very painful to deal with.

The first, third and eleventh felt as if they broke my heart. But after years of using these techniques I have reached a point now where I can truthfully say that it feels as if I’ve had none.

Really – my miscarriages don’t hurt me at all.

And that is why I offer this. I want to share with you the tools and techniques which I used, so that this can be easier and less painful for you too.

For my first two miscarriages, I didn’t know about any of this, and the emotional pain was enormous. Shortly before the third one, which happened when I was 14 weeks pregnant, I learned how to do EFT “tapping” (Emotional Freedom Techniques.) This powerful and simple self-help technique helped me to get through the worst experience of my life.

    I was happily pregnant

when my husband and I went for our routine 14 week scan (which had been delayed from 12 weeks). We had no inkling that anything was wrong, but the scan showed that the baby had no heartbeat: it was a devastating shock.

24 hours later, I had an operation to remove the baby’s remains, but that wasn’t straight forward and I ended up staying in hospital unexpectedly.

I don’t know how I would have coped during all of this, without “tapping.” It allowed me to face the unbearable, and to go through it all. It brought the intensity of the emotional pain down a few notches. I “tapped” for hours on end, before and after, in hospital and at home, and I felt calmer, and able to deal with it, moment by moment.

In the weeks and months that followed, I began to train intensively in using EFT “tapping.” It allowed me systematically to take the painful emotions away from the many haunting memories from my miscarriages.

I began to use “tapping” in my work as a general therapist

and I found that my clients benefited enormously from using it too. We all felt more peaceful, happier, and less troubled by the events we had experienced.

Eventually I discovered TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique) and I trained as a TAT Professional as well, and combined that with the “tapping.” In my own healing process it felt as if the TAT allowed me to grieve, safely and gently, in a way that I hadn’t been able to before.

And over the years I became pregnant and miscarried 12 times, before we finally made the decision to stop, when I was 39. (If I hadn’t been using “tapping” and TAT throughout all of this, we wouldn’t have kept trying for so long; it would have been totally overwhelming.)

After working with many women who have had miscarriages, in 2013 I formally started my miscarriage support business. This is why.

One of my clients told me about sitting alone in a hospital in the middle of the night, waiting to have a scan to see if she was miscarrying, and there was a little note on the wall saying “If you would like to talk to someone, please call this number.”

This service was provided by an untrained volunteer who had had a miscarriage herself, and who was offering to be at the end of the phone to listen, if someone needs to talk. It’s really an extremely generous thing to offer, but my client didn’t feel comfortable phoning a stranger, about such a deeply distressing and personal issue.

She told me that if there had been any other option for getting support, she would have taken it. In that moment I thought “l can do that: I can provide that other option.”

And I’ve been a woman on a mission ever since!

I want any woman who has had (or is having) a miscarriage, anywhere in the world, to have expert support, and a tried and proven process which can make it all a little bit easier to bear, no matter what time of day or night it is.
